They Give Me Warmth
In this photo project, I aim to capture the warmth, kindness, and sincerity my son and I experienced during our escape from Ukraine to Germany—a country that became a haven for us during difficult times. Each piece of clothing I received from Germans is not just a physical shield against the cold but also a symbol of the support and compassion that helped us endure this challenging period.
Through a fusion of fashion and fine art, I will showcase these garments as embodiments of the hospitality and humanity of the German people. Using refined compositions and symbolic details, I aim to convey not only the external beauty of the clothing but also the profound emotional connection these items represent for me. They are not merely pieces of a wardrobe but tokens of care, empathy, and solidarity that brought light, hope, and a sense of safety into our lives.
The project, "The Light of Support: Clothing That Warms the Soul," seeks to highlight the importance of humanity and empathy in a world often overshadowed by darkness and uncertainty. Through these images, I want to express my gratitude to those who extended a helping hand and to show that even the simplest things can hold immense significance when offered with love and kindness.
